【大纪元2020年08月11日】（大纪元记者季薇多伦多报导）多伦多警方称，怡陶碧谷地区周二（8月11日）发生一起车祸，两名儿童被撞，一死一重伤。
警方称，周二上午11点，当两名儿童与一名男子穿越马路时，被一名82岁老妇驾车撞上。事发街道在427号高速路以东、怡陶碧谷的The East Mall和Burnhamthorpe Rd交叉路口附近。

被撞3岁男孩当场死亡，另一名7、8岁的儿童，死者的姐姐被送往病童医院，病情危重。两个孩子的父亲也受伤。警方到场后，封路进行调查。
警员戴维．霍普金森（David Hopkinson）对CP24表示，警方到达时肇事司机仍在现场，随后被送往医院接受治疗。◇
