劉海粟先生曾經說過：「一部藝術史即是一部創造的歷史。……堅持與別人不雷同，才能有自己獨特的風格。」

所謂創作，就是要有新意、要能「創造出新意念的作品」。否則憑什麼叫「創作」呢。

不過也有另外的說法是：創造不是憑空生出來的，仍然要有「底子」，要以傳統做養分的。

無所適從的我們，就只好在這兩者之間徘徊了。

Mr. Liu Hai su once ever said: “A history of art is a history of creation…. Insist to be a different from others,

a unique style of your own can be built.”

The so-called creation, which means new ideas are must, must be able to “create a new idea of works”. Otherwise, how it can be named “creation”?

There is another way of saying that creation does not come out from nothing, a capable “foundation” is a must and keeps tradition as its nutrition.

People like us who do not know how to follow up but only wander in between these two.@
